Fashion Business - Gucci

Paris - Gucci Group has appointed Didier Bonnin as the new CEO of Sergio Rossi, succeeding Isabelle Guichot, who was made CEO of Balenciaga just a couple of weeks ago. Bonnin, 40, joins Sergio Rossi from Bottega Veneta where he was Industrial Director from February 2003. Bottega Veneta, Sergio Rossi and Balenciaga are all controlled by the giant French-owned luxury corporation Gucci Group.  The new Sergio Rossi CEO begins his role on June 18.

Gucci Group is the world’s 3rd largest luxury conglomerate, controlling such brands as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Bédat & Co., Boucheron, Roger & Gallet, Stella McCartney and YSL Beauté.  de Commerce in Rheims with a degree in International Finance, is fluent in Italian, English and French.  It is good to see fresh blood at Gucci and this can only help them in the long-term
